When you use BillMyCommits, we collect and store the following information:

• Your GitHub username and email address
• Your name (if provided by GitHub)
• Your GitHub avatar URL
• A GitHub access token to fetch your repository and commit data

What We Access From GitHub

We never access or store your code. We only read:

• Repository names
• Commit hashes (SHA)
• Commit messages
• Commit timestamps and author information

Your source code, file contents, and diffs are never accessed, downloaded, or stored by BillMyCommits.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Authenticate you via GitHub OAuth
• Fetch your repository names and commit metadata to generate invoices
• Store invoices and client information you create

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely in our PostgreSQL database. We do not sell, share, or provide your personal data to third parties. Your GitHub access token is stored securely and only used to fetch commit metadata on your behalf.

• Access your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data
